Santosh Kumar Mohanty is a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently employed at Walmart Global Tech India, where he designs microservices based architectures for building highly scalable, high availability applications. Santosh has extensive knowledge of databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and search DB like ELASTIC SEARCH. He is also experienced in AWS products like Elastic Beanstalk, ECS, SNS, SES, CDN, S3, Elastic Cache, Cloudwatch, LoadBalancers, Lambda, and SQS. He has developed serverless applications to work on AWS Lambda for automating jobs and worked on DevOps projects to automate build and deployment into EB/ECS using continuous integration tools like Circle-CI and AWS Code-Pipeline/Code-Build. Prior to joining Walmart, Santosh worked at General Electric as a Senior Software Engineer. Here, he worked on various NODE.JS based microservices used to promote the data analytics code to AWS S3/ Google cloud store, build an image artifact, read input data files, and deploy/execute the models using Async data queue and to finally publish the findings to a Dashboard. He also developed custom dashboards to show the real-time monitoring statistics of various data models getting deployed and executed. Santosh automated the entire CI/CD pipeline for all the microservices in a cloud agnostic approach into Cloud managed Kubernetes as well as on-prem. He worked on developing custom deployment templates using Helm for Kubernetes deployments and automated various Server components like Ingress/Nginx, LBs, etc. Santosh has a B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. He also completed his Intermediate from Binayak Acharya Govt. Science College and Matriculation from D.A.V. Public School, Berhampur.
